Test on Nomenclature Unit: This was the final summative assessment given to all classes for the nomenclature unit.
Other formative assessments were given via exit slips and using "white boards." The white boards are simply a small dry-erase boards that are used by each student to write their answers to a given question. I found this to be very helpful especially as a review before the test. Exit slips are also useful because it is a quick method to evaluate student understanding.
